LES Supply & Install Crane In Dammam, Saudi Arabia

National Galvanising Company (NGC), located in the Second Industrial City of Dammam in Saudi Arabia, recently approached our KSA office with a specific need for an overhead crane as they prepared to equip their warehouse. Their goal was to efficiently handle heavy loads within their storage area, and after consulting with our international technical team, they decided to trust us due to our extensive experience—over three decades—in selling and installing overhead cranes across the Middle East. To meet their urgent requirements, LES provided a complete 5-tonne SWF Blackline Crane Kit. The kit was air-freighted directly to Dammam to expedite the installation process, while the bridge beam was sourced locally to streamline logistics. Our partner factory in Saudi Arabia assembled and fabricated the single girder bridge on-site, ensuring swift completion to meet the customer’s needs. The bridge beam spans 10,500 mm and extends up to 60 meters, positioned in the central bay of the warehouse to enable efficient handling, loading, and unloading of steel products. It facilitates movement from ground level up to 8 meters high using an SWF four-fall wire rope hoist. Safe operation was ensured through a radio remote control system, a standard feature of all Blackline crane kits. This allows operators to maintain a safe distance from the load, especially when dealing with oversized items. Unlike traditional wired pendants, this system enables operators to move freely around the load, keeping a vigilant eye on its movement. The crane system is powered by a busbar conductor system along the entire 60-meter span of the workshop, coupled with a caterpillar-type track on the bridge to deliver both power and control signals from the control panel to the hoist and end carriages. Our technical engineers successfully commissioned the full crane system in just two days at the Second Industrial City, culminating in a successful load test. This marked a professional and seamless installation.
