"Wanshan" is equipped with storage batteries, inverters, data acquisition and monitoring equipment, and satellite transmission equipment. It can supply power to islands through submarine cables and can provide standard power for various instruments and equipment mounted on it. At the same time, two-way data transmission between the marine equipment and the land control center can be achieved through the satellite antenna. At present, the "Wanshan" has met the need to install instruments on its top platform to carry out measurements of the marine environment, or to carry communications equipment as a mobile base station on the sea.
