Our company has outlined several important points to consider during the manufacturing process of toggle switches, ensuring that each customer can avoid potential issues during installation and use. Here are some essential notes regarding the toggle switch: 1. When soldering the terminals, be cautious as applying excessive pressure may lead to looseness, deformation, or degradation of electrical performance depending on the conditions. 2. Avoid using water-soluble flux during the soldering process. 3. Follow the welding conditions based on those used in actual mass production. 4. If double soldering is required, allow the first part to cool down to normal temperature before proceeding. Continuous heating could cause deformation of the outer edges, loosening of the terminal, or even detachment, leading to reduced electrical performance. 5. Ensure that flux does not flow from the top of the printed circuit board into the switch. 6. After installing the switch, contact us before passing through the heat curing oven to ensure proper hardening of other adhesives. 7. If using a through-hole PCB or a board different from the recommended one, thermal stress effects may vary. Confirm the soldering conditions in advance. 8. For plug-type switches, solder at the bolt position. Soldering while the pin is fixed may cause deformation of the internal mechanism. 9. Do not attempt to clean the switch after installation. 10. For small or thin switches, exercise caution during assembly to avoid applying unnecessary external force. 11. Tighten the mounting screws within the specified torque. Over-tightening may result in malfunction or damage to the screw. 12. Insert the switch body into the designated mounting surface and ensure it is level. Failure to do so may lead to operational failure. 13. If the voltage is below DC 1V or the current is less than 10μA, there may be poor contact. Confirm this separately before use. 14. This product is designed for DC resistance load. If using other loads such as inductive (L) or capacitive (C), check compatibility separately. 15. Applying more force than specified during operation may damage the switch. Always operate within the recommended limits. 16. In dusty environments, dust may enter through the openings, causing contact failure or malfunction. Plan accordingly during the design phase. 17. If corrosive gases are present in the surrounding materials, they may affect the switch’s contacts. Conduct prior testing if necessary. 18. Store touch-type switches at normal room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and in an environment free from corrosive gases. The shelf life is limited to 6 months from delivery. Use as soon as possible. 19. Once opened, store the switch in a sealed polyethylene bag to protect it from moisture and air exposure. Keep it in the same storage conditions and use it promptly. 20. Avoid over-stacking switches during storage to prevent damage.
