What is an inductor?

Inductors are not used much in electronics, but they are equally important in circuits. We believe that an inductor, like a capacitor, is also an energy storage component that converts electrical energy into magnetic energy and stores energy in a magnetic field. The inductor is denoted by the symbol L, and its basic unit is Henry (H), which is commonly used in millihenry (mH). It often works with capacitors to form LC filters, LC oscillators, and more. In addition, people also use the characteristics of the inductor to manufacture the choke, transformer, relay and so on.
