Ultrasonic level gauge installation position and precautions

There shall be no obstacles in the area between the emitting surface of the ultrasonic probe and the surface of the measured medium and radiated by the transmitted ultrasonic beam. Therefore, the installation should be avoided as much as possible, such as: brackets, equipment on site. When installing the instrument, please also note that the highest material level must not enter the measurement blind zone; the instrument must be kept at a certain distance from the tank wall; the instrument should be installed as far as possible so that the transducer's emission direction is perpendicular to the liquid surface. Special attention is paid to the use of ultrasonic level timing, making sure that the highest level cannot enter the measurement dead zone.

First, the choice of installation location:

1 When installing the ultrasonic level gauge, the main meter and the bulk wall should be at least 0.5 meters away.

2 For conical containers and for flat topping, the best installation position of the meter is the center of the top of the container, so that it can be guaranteed to the bottom of the container.

3 The instrument is installed on the top of the arched or round tank, which will cause multiple reflection echoes. When installing, it should be avoided as much as possible to install the meter on the tens of thousands of inflow streams to ensure that the surface of the medium is measured. Not a feed stream.

Installation considerations:

1. The level gauge should be installed in the place without vibration and strong electromagnetic interference.

2, the container avoids stirring, complex occasions or adding a waveguide

3, the installation location is convenient to construct, the maintenance transducer should be perpendicular to the surface of the measured medium

4. If there is any feeding or escalator on the side of the installation, the effective distance should be staggered.
