Atlas Copco launches new 8 series compressor

Atlas Copco is proud to introduce 8 series (10 models) new air compressors. All models in the 8 Series weigh less than the 750 kg limit, eliminating the need for a special driver's traction compressor. Reliability, efficiency and higher levels of utilization coupled with superior performance make this range of compressors the largest return on investment for leasing and construction partners.

The new Series 8 compressor series is ideal for construction sites and other harsh environments. It is based on Atlas Copco's pioneering air filter design, which allows a single compressor to weigh no more than 150 kg, lower than the other. Similar models. In the development process, the 8 series compressors pay special attention to improving efficiency and significantly reduce fuel consumption through the latest cutting-edge results. This new series of compressors uses an average of 12% less fuel than other similar products.

The compressor unit is compact and lightweight, and despite the full-size fuel tank, aftercooler and generator, all models weigh less than 750kg. The largest compressor in the series can generate air at 5m3/min and can still be towed by a regular car. The new HardHat housing ensures that the Series 8 models are rugged enough for extreme conditions.

The compressor uses a reliable Kubota engine, and its anti-air plug system ensures that the machine starts normally. Maintenance and repair is simple, as all parts are easily accessible and a screw-in filter system is used. Even better, the Series 8 compressors require only one hour of maintenance in two years of operation.

The 8 Series compressors were originally composed of 10 models, from XAS38 Kd (displacement 2 m3/min) to XAS 88 Kd (discharge 5 m3/min). Two of these models have built-in generators.
