The United States is optimistic about the stone industry after 2010

Stone, the US BNP media (the parent company of Stone World magazine in the United States) recently conducted a survey on the stone processing market in the United States. The results show that American stone producers are optimistic about the US stone industry in 2010 and beyond. The scope of this survey covers stone production enterprises throughout the United States. The following is a rough result of this survey:

1. 45% believe that the stone market in 2010 will show a growth trend, 40% believe that the current situation will be maintained, and only 15% believe that the market will be depressed.

2. Looking forward to the next 5-10 years: 83% said that the stone market will grow, 11% said it will remain unchanged, and only 6% said it will decline.

3. Among the stone processing plants surveyed, half said they are planning to invest in major equipment purchases in 2010.

10% of the companies intend to purchase CNC machines, and the estimated purchase amount of equipment is about 200,000 US dollars.

10% of stone companies will purchase waterjet equipment, with an expected purchase price of around $185,000.

One-fifth of the stone companies plan to buy a bridge saw, with a target purchase of around $80,000.

One-fifth of the stone companies plan to increase the polisher saw, with a target price of around $50,000.

1/6 of the stone companies intend to purchase air/water treatment equipment with a target price of more than $20,000.

One-third of the stone companies plan to use lifting equipment, and the planned purchase price is about $35,000.
