Working parameters: processing range M20 ~ M24, V = 30 ~ 34m / min.

Use effect: a knife forming, chip removal smooth, chip into a spherical shape, thread surface roughness Ra3.2μm, safe and easy to use.

Note: When loading the knife, the tool tip is 0.5mm higher than the working center.

Tool features: (1) The tool body is 45 steel, the quenching hardness is HRC45-50, the blade is YT15; (2) The blade is milling with 4° front angle. Do not grind the chip breaker, rely on the hard alloy chip breaking on the pressure block; (3) the blade does not weld, maintain the original performance, long service life, reduce loss; (4) adopts the horizontal pull-up method, the clamping is firm, It is easy to manufacture, with a pressure of 110° at the front of the tool and a 4° angle of the cutting edge of the tool. The iron scraps are discharged in a spherical shape for safe operation.

Working parameters: speed n=613r/min pitch r=1.5mm, one knife forming.

Use effect: 2-3 times better than general tool, surface roughness up to Ra1.6μm, above.

Note: The outer diameter of the machining work should be 0.4 to 0.5 mm smaller than the nominal size. Otherwise, the outer diameter is too large and cannot be matched with the nut.

3 Conclusion

Promote and use new tool materials, machine clamps (without re-grinding) turning tools, rationally change the tool geometry angle, and select the appropriate cutting amount in production practice, which can significantly improve tool durability and improve the processing quality of parts surface. Auxiliary time such as sharpening, tool change, installation, adjustment, etc., greatly improve labor productivity and reduce production costs.
