1. If your vehicle is frequently driven in dusty or sandy areas, it's a good idea to clean the sunroof tracks monthly using a wet sponge. This helps remove any debris that could cause damage or interfere with the sunroof’s movement.

2. If your car will be parked for an extended period or the sunroof won’t be used for a while, consider applying a special talcum powder or rubber lubricant around the rubber seal. This prevents the rubber from drying out and cracking. If the sunroof becomes covered in dirt or fluff, simply wipe it with water and a soft cloth. A thorough cleaning every few months is recommended to prevent aging caused by chemical reactions in the air.

3. When washing your car, don’t forget to inspect the plastic strips and grooves of the sunroof for any dirt, leaves, or small debris that might get stuck. These can cause wear and tear over time if not removed.

4. Every 2 to 3 months, use a damp sponge to clean the sunroof rails and the sealing strips. After cleaning, apply a rubber protective agent to keep the seals flexible. Also, lubricate the sunroof’s moving parts and tracks. Once the lubricant is applied, open and close the sunroof several times to distribute the product evenly.
