Self-lubricating bearings have become a key innovation in modern mechanical systems. These bearings offer improved performance, reduced maintenance, and longer service life, making them ideal for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
1. **SF-2 Boundary Lubricated Bearing**: This bearing is made from an acid-resistant poly methyl aldehyde material, offering high wear resistance. It features a structured surface with oil reservoirs, which allows it to function effectively with lubricating grease. It is especially suitable for low-speed rotational motion under heavy loads, as well as for oscillating or frequently loaded operations. Due to its design, it can operate without oil for long periods, and the addition of lubricant during use can significantly extend its lifespan. It is commonly used in metallurgical, mining, water conservancy, automotive, construction, and agricultural machinery.
2. **Oil-Free Self-Lubricating Bearing**: This type of bearing is constructed using a steel base, with a middle layer of sintered bronze powder and a top layer made of a mixture of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and lead. It has a low friction coefficient, excellent wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. Its oil-free operation reduces costs, noise, and the risk of sticking or slipping. It is widely used in sliding parts of printing machines, textile machines, hydraulic pallet trucks, tobacco equipment, medical devices, fitness equipment, micro motors, cars, and motorcycles.
3. **Metal-Based Solid Self-Lubricating Bearing**: This is a new generation of bearings that combines the advantages of traditional metal bearings with self-lubricating properties. The bearing is supported by a metal matrix, and a specially formulated solid lubricant provides a smooth surface. It offers high load capacity, impact resistance, heat resistance, and excellent self-lubrication characteristics, making it ideal for demanding environments.
4. **Traditional Oil-Impregnated Bearings**: Known for their low noise and self-lubricating properties, these bearings have become popular in computer CPU fans. With increasing demand for quieter and more efficient systems, oil-impregnated bearings are also gaining popularity in household appliances and other mechanical applications.
