Wuxi launches special inspection of safety production accident investigation

Recently, the Wuxi Municipal Safety Supervision Bureau, along with the Municipal Construction Bureau, the Public Security Fire Fighting Brigade, and the Traffic Police Detachment, formed a special inspection team to conduct a thorough review of the 2013 production safety accident investigations and the corresponding accountability processes across different city and county areas.

Key recommendations include: strengthening source control, improving hidden danger identification, reinforcing the concept of accident prevention; enhancing regulatory enforcement, ensuring strict adherence to laws and regulations, and fostering a safer working environment; standardizing investigation procedures to ensure all actions are lawful and based on accurate legal frameworks; strictly implementing rectification measures to ensure full compliance from the affected units; thoroughly analyzing the causes of accidents and taking effective steps to reduce casualties; and promoting enterprise standardization, improving working conditions, and raising safety awareness to achieve long-term, fundamental safety improvements.
