For the chronic diseases affecting Shenyang's traffic, Shenyang Public Security plans to complete the construction of 1,000 electronic police, 200 television monitors, and 200 speed capture systems before the end of the year. Xu Wenyou said that Shenyang has 630 electronic police officers, and in his opinion, 6,300 are not enough.

In this regard, Xu Wenyou initiated eight prescriptions including strengthening road traffic management and cracking down on violations of regulations. Xu Wenyou said that by the end of the year, 1,000 e-policemen, 200 television monitors, 200 speed capture systems, and 111 kilometers of guardrails will be completed. Existing road sign systems will be improved and traffic markings will be maintained.

Although in November last year, the city launched a "safe car" operation, began to install electronic eyes in the carriage, but mainly in the new car with installation conditions. It can be seen that the demand for electronic eyes of Shenyang buses is still very strong, and will increase as new cars replace old ones.

In addition, the static traffic order of various levels of vehicles, such as the random parking of vehicles in Shenyang, is still chaotic. It can be seen that the construction of parking facilities in Shenyang is relatively backward, and there are also considerable opportunities for nuggets in parking management.

"Twelve Games" boosted Shenyang intelligent traffic. According to Xu Wenyou, the construction of Shenyang traffic safety management facilities still lags behind mainly in the lower proportion of total signals in the traffic system, and the serious lag in the internal traffic control system technology level. The problem of large traffic barriers and sign gaps has not been fundamentally resolved.

In this regard, the industry believes that to improve the level of management of road traffic in Shenyang, science and technology, should speed up the traffic dynamics guidance system, detection system, ETC parking toll collection system, so as to achieve a combination of static management and dynamic monitoring.

It is understood that the Shenyang police have combined the opportunities for revising transportation to meet the 2013 Twelfth Games held in Shenyang, researched and formulated Shenyang Intelligent Transport Planning, and introduced Shenyang's new intelligent traffic management measures. Although the current intelligent traffic management measures in Shenyang have not yet been announced, it is understood that the general idea is to integrate the existing road traffic system in the city, optimize signal timing, increase data detection efforts, and achieve full system control.

Looking at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and the Guangzhou Asian Games that has just ended, intelligent transportation has played an important role in solving the host city's traffic problems, and it has been increasingly recognized by the society. It is believed that Shenyang Intelligent Transportation Construction will usher in a golden period of development before the Shenyang Twelfth National Games is held in 2013.
