XPS insulation board is an extruded polystyrene insulation board. It is made of polystyrene resin and other raw materials and poly-storage materials. It is heated and mixed by special process and injected into the catalyst, and then extruded continuously. Formed and manufactured rigid foam board. Its scientific name is extruded polypropylene foam (XPS) for thermal insulation. XPS has perfect closed-cell honeycomb structure, which makes XPS board have very low water absorption. (almost no water absorption), moisture-proof, airtight, lightweight, corrosion-resistant, low thermal conductivity, high pressure resistance, aging resistance (almost no aging decomposition in normal use), long service life, low thermal conductivity, etc. Energy-saving and environmentally friendly insulation materials.
Its mechanical properties are unmatched by EPS, in addition to the tight closed cell structure due to continuous extrusion. Its density, water absorption, thermal conductivity and vapor permeability are lower than other types of plates, and it is recognized as the best insulation material in the market.
