The world's fastest solar car

A group of Australian university students successfully created Sunswift IVy, one of the fastest-running solar cars in the world. It rewritten the Guinness World Record at a speed of 88 kilometers per hour.

Sunswift IVy is similar in size to an ordinary car, but because of the use of carbon fiber, it weighs only 1/10th the weight of an ordinary car. The car's smooth top is fitted with 400 charging pads that can charge up to 25 kilograms of battery. The car's motor has a power of about 1.2 kilowatts per hour, similar to the power of a home bread oven.

In January of this year, two professional racers conducted speed tests for Sunswift IVy at a naval base in Australia. The result was a Guinness World Record. It is said that the maximum speed of the car can also be increased to 120 kilometers per hour.
